ABOUT JENN BOWERY
Jenn Bowery has a life long passion for horses. Jenn started riding at age 5 years old and knew that the equestrian life would be her pastime and her career. Jenn has embraced the rigor and work ethic of life in the stables. Jenn's devotion to the horses and athletes, and her commitment to safety has made her one of the most sought after trainers on the east coast. Jenn coaches riders of all ages and abilities. Jenn has a history of matching riders with a pony or horse that benefit both the equestrian and the animal.
Jenn Bowery trained as a young rider showing in maiden, novice and eventually competing in the adult hunter and equitation open classes jumping fences at 3'6". Her competitions took her up and down the east coast. In addition to showing and competing, throughout college Jenn worked as a groom, stable manager and pony camp teacher. Upon graduating with a business degree, Jenn started managing equestrian tours and training other riders. Her work has taken her from New York to Florida, and across Europe winning the Nation's Cup three times in Sweden, France and Belgium. Jenn's mentors are some of the most prestigious names in the equestrian industry- Joe Fargis, Anne Kursinski, George Morris, Katie Monahan Prudent and her sister Grand Prix winner, Laura Bowery. Jenn has trained or worked at farms and stables around Long Island including: Rice Farms, Lake Meadow, Two Trees, Seahorse Stables, Topping Riding Club. In 2007 Jenn Bowery founded her own business Ocean's Edge Farm and is available for training and consultation for all your equestrian needs.
